With over 30 years of dedicated practice, Dr. Brett Hightower brings unparalleled experience in holistic healing and energy medicine. A Raleigh native, Dr. Hightower began his journey by studying biology, chemistry, and quantum physics at Appalachian State University, graduating in 1984. His passion for alternative healing blossomed during the exciting emergence of integrative medicine in the late 1980s, deeply influenced by visionaries such as Deepak Chopra, Andrew Weil, Bernie Siegel, and Shakti Gawain. Graduating Summa Cum Laude from Life University’s Chiropractic program in 1993, Dr. Hightower began his professional journey by teaching x-ray physics and advanced diagnostic imaging. Establishing his practice in Raleigh in 1994, he quickly expanded his expertise by becoming certified in acupuncture in 1995. Dr. Hightower’s decades of combined experience in chiropractic and acupuncture have provided a profound understanding of how energy flows and heals the human body. Office Manager
Mary Hightower is the office manager and Laser operator at Hightower Acupuncture and Laser. She has been certified as a laser technician for 20 years.
She and Dr. Hightower, married since 1989, make a strong team to provide quality care in a safe and loving environment. Mary is a competent manager, a great conversationalist as well as a warm, caring person to help facilitate your care.
